ABOUT UMB SNDA
The Student National Dental Association (SNDA) chapter at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD) has and continues to provide proper oral hygiene education through various outreach efforts and an increase to the access of care within the Baltimore community with emphasis on the minorities and the undeserved. You do not have to be a minority to help those in need or for membership. We are open to ALL! We need YOU to help provide a service that will improve the quality of life for those in need in this city. As an award winning chapter, we have an even greater responsibility! SNDA also has a number of exciting events such as The Oral Cancer Walk, Impressions Day, social events, mentorship, and so much more!
UMB SNDA has accomplished a lot in recent years. It has gained recognition for its dedication to improving oral health care in underserved communities and for encouraging minorities to pursue dentistry as a career.
